Mr Pinner, from Castle Acre, joined Abel Homes in 2001 as an apprentice carpenter, working his way up to become senior site manager. This is the fourth time he has won this award. He is designer's intentions into reality, good health and safety standards and a commitment to raising standards. Abel Homes managing director Paul LeGrice said: "Very few Pride in the Job awards go to smaller house builders, so to win two is a reflection of the effort we put Into keeping very high standards at all of our new home developments. They have both worked their way up to their current positions during their time at Abel Homes, which is credit to their hard work, enthusiasm and great atitude." Tim Walsingham and Danny Pinner both work for Watton-based Abel Homes, and the pair will now go forward to the NIIBC's Seal of Excellence award (an accolade which Mr Walsingham has also won for the last three years in a row), the next stage in the annual search for the best site manager in the UK. The pair have now notched up a staggering ten Pride in the Job awards between them. Mr Walsingham, from Yaxham, is senior site manager at the firm's Swan's Nest site in Swaffham. This is the sixth currently overseeing the firm's Taursham Park site in Taverham. The Pride in the Job award is given following a Michelin Guide style inspection by a NHBC inspector, who assess site managers against 38 strict criteria, including workmanship, excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, the ability to turn the Abel time he has won this award.
